Today, as we wait somewhat impatiently for rain in Tobermory, I decided to pull out this photo to remind me of what's possible. It was taken by a Women's Wisdom Retreat guest on her way back home. A huge thunderstorm had soaked the highway and when this stunning rainbow appeared, she just had to stop and capture it with her camera.
What I wanted today was to see rain; to feel rain; to smell rain. We sometimes underestimate the power of believing. I'm reminded of Gregg Braden's story in Louise Hay's movie You Can Heal Your Life. He talks about going into the mountains on New Mexico with a friend to "Pray Rain". That's what I'm doing for the parched land and disappearing lake. I'm praying rain.
Anytime we find something lacking in our lives we can pull together visual cues to help us see, feel, taste, smell and maybe hear whatever it is. If we feel love is missing, look at photos of love. If we feel security is missing, look at images that make us feel secure. Whatever we are looking for - generosity, kindness, patience, wellness ... use all your senses to bring the feeling alive in your body, mind and spirit. Wayne Dyer wrote a book years ago called "You'll See It When You Believe It." The message is still relevant today as we understand the power of our minds in co-creating our experience.
What are you praying for? What dream are you longing to fulfill? What shift are you ready to manifest? YOU have the power.
