Believing in Failure, Invites Failure

"If we are intent on seeing failure, failure will show up."

How many times have we made up our minds about how something will turn out? What about those times when we said we were trying our best when all along, we secretly believed it wouldn't work?

The road ahead can look eerily long and dangerous ... or calm and inviting. It's all in your perspective.

Having a realistic perspective is different than lying to ourselves with fluffy, over-the-top optimism. We can't talk our way out of what we believe unless we are willing to be honest about the facts.

I hear people say they want more for self-care but there isn't enough time. They believe that exercise, meditation, relaxation, fun activities etc. will enhance their wellbeing. Yet, these are typically the first things to go when our schedules get busy or we are just plain tired.

So what if we agreed for just a few minutes to imagine that we had more than enough time for self-care. That everything that really needed to get done, would and that the benefit of self-care would dramatically outweigh the cost of anything that didn't. Imagine for even a few minutes, what it would be like to feel the exhilarating outcomes of doing things that bring you joy, satisfaction, relief and inner calm.

It IS possible. Of course you can always go back to that limiting, defeated manta of "I don't have time" OR you can choose to believe that there is enough time and watch how you shift your life to accommodate what really matters.

When you change the way you see the world, you change the world you see.
